This community is here to serve a purpose. That purpose is the objective, constructive, review of role-playing games. It can serve as a way to find a game, or a way to learn how to be a better moderator or story teller. What it is not is a place to flame, troll, or promote games.

Reviews should be submitted in a mature and, we'll say it again, constructive fashion. If you just hate a game and want to bitch, take it to bad_rpers_suck. We love bad_rpers_suck. We're members. We enjoy ranting. This isn't the place for it.

Membership and posting are unmoderated. However, we'll be watching the community and if there are problems with posts being inflammatory, nasty, or sock-puppeting for the sake of community promtion, those posts will be removed. Complete wankers who repeatedly break rules will be banned.

You don't have to be a member of a game to review it, though you should know enough to give a balanced and fair review of the game. You don't have to use the form, but try to get the relevant information, or as much of it as you can in possible.

What do we want to know?

Fandom or Genre: (Hary Potter, X-men, World of Darkness, Cyberpunk, Original Fantasy, etc)

Audience or Rating: (Is this game suitable for all ages, or is it geared for a mature audience (sex or violence))

Format: (Journal, Messageboard, MU, MOO, Chat-room, mailing list, etc.)

After that have at it. Let us know what you loved, what you think could use improvement. Characters, plot, mod or story teller presence, applications and guidelines. It's up to you to use some common sense here, but most places will have something going for them, and even if you think they don't write your review with the realization that not everyone shares your opinions, and the moderators, creators, and players of those games may very well be reading your review.

We're here to give information, not hurt feelings.
